In the Southwestern of the Yukon Territory there is a confluence of valleys where the mountains surround you, forming a cradle of majestic solitude. The watershed flowing from one valley is known to the Southern Turchone people as Aiya. One of these threads of water, weaving its path to the south end of Dezadeash Lake, is Flying Squirrel Creek.
